BY CAR

The Plaza Hotel Catania is located on the SS114 coastal road that runs north to south on the eastern side of Sicily
  • From the North (Messina) - Take the A18 / E45 southbound until the Catania exit and then continue due south on the Viale Mediterraneo until you reach Viale Marco Polo. Turn left (eastbound) onto this road until it leads you to the SS114 where you will turn right (south). The hotel is on this road on the right hand side after around 5 mins.
  • From the South (Syracuse) - Take the A18 / E45 northbound and take the exit for the SP701 eastbound.(towards the airport). This road will eventually join the SS114 which you should take northbound. The hotel should be on your left hand side after around 15 minutes.
  • From the West (Enna) - Take the A19 / E932 westbound until just near the end, where you need to turn right /south onto Strada Bummacaro towards SP701. Join the SP701 and turn left (north east). This road will eventually join the SS114 which you should take northbound. The hotel should be on your left hand side after around 15 minutes.

BY BOAT

The Port of Catania is only around 3km from the hotel which is around a 5 minute drive. Guests can take a taxi or alternatively we can arrange for you to be picked up by a chauffeured shuttle service. If however you hire a rental car, then take the SS114 northbound. The hotel should be on your left hand side after around 5 minutes.

Catania Fontanarossa Airport is only around 8.5km from the hotel which is around a 15 minute drive. Our guests can decide also to take a taxi or book our shuttle bus private service from/to the airport
